Your Work Queue

Your Queue is the list of all work orders assigned to you. It's organized by status so you always know what needs attention first.

Accessing the queue

Tap the My Queue tab (second tab at the bottom of the screen).

How the queue is organized

Work orders are grouped by status:

GroupWhat it means
Needs Check-InAssigned to you — tap to check in and start working
In ProgressYou're checked in — active job
Needs ReworkYour submission was rejected; you need to redo and resubmit
Pending ReviewYou submitted — waiting for the facility to approve
Work ApprovedThe facility approved your work
Approved for PaymentCleared for invoice/payment
DeferredPostponed; will reappear when due

The number in parentheses after each group header shows how many jobs are in that state.

The Dashboard shortcut

The Dashboard tab (first tab) shows your Current Task or Up Next card — the single most important job to focus on right now (highest priority, oldest due date). Use this when you just want to know "what do I do first."

Filtering and sorting

Tap Filters (top right of the Queue screen) to narrow the list:

  • Sort by: Priority, Due Date, or Store A–Z.
  • Filter by priority: Emergency, Urgent, Normal, Routine.
  • Filter by store: See only jobs at a specific location.
  • Filter by type: Repair, Inspection, PM, etc.

A badge on the Filters button shows how many filters are active.

Scanning a QR code to find a job

Tap the Scan icon (top right, camera icon) to open the QR scanner. Scan the QR sticker on any piece of equipment and the app shows all work orders associated with that asset. Useful when you arrive on site and want to jump straight to the relevant job.

Reading a work order card

Each card in the queue shows at a glance:

  • Type — Repair, PM, Inspection, etc.
  • Status badge — color-coded.
  • Priority indicator — Emergency (red), Urgent (orange), Normal (blue), Routine (gray).
  • Site name — which location.
  • Asset — the specific equipment.
  • Due date — highlighted in red if overdue.
  • Notes — any instructions from the facility team.

Tap any card to open the full work order detail.

Empty state

If you see "No work orders assigned. Check back later." — no jobs have been assigned to your company yet. Contact your facility coordinator.
